Never mind “Vote for Pedro,” soon-to-be Baseball Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez is ready to cast a vote for Xander Bogaerts.

Boston Red Sox fans have some work to do if they’re going to get Bogaerts to the All-Star Game, as Bogaerts is one of five players in the running for Major League Baseball’s Final Vote contest for a spot on the American League All-Star team. Martinez seems more than willing to help push the campaign.

The Red Sox legend took to Twitter on Thursday night to show his support for young Red Sox shortstop.
