President Obama dropped in on the United States women’s national soccer team’s everlasting victory lap as someone in his position is wont to do.

Obama called Team USA on Tuesday to congratulate them on their victory in the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup. The White House shared a two-way video of the president’s Team USA call with millions of followers on various social media channels.

Although a presidential phone call is customary for victors in American sports, Obama’s chat with Team USA had a personal feel to it. The president congratulated head coach Jill Ellis on expertly navigating Team USA through the tournament before asking Golden Ball winner Carli Lloyd for diet and performance advice.

Their revelry will continue well into the future and include an actual visit to the White House during Obama and Team USA finally will be able to matches faces, voices and names.
