“The Decision” was a pretty simple one this time around. The only issue was money. And LeBron James is getting a lot of it.

The Cleveland Cavaliers superstar will re-sign with the team on a two-year contract worth roughly $46.9 million, according to ESPN’s Chris Broussard. James will earn $22.97 million during the 2015-16 season and has a player option for the 2016-17 season, during which he’s set to make $24 million.

James opted out of his contract and became a free agent last week, but it was all but certain he’d re-sign with Cleveland. The 30-year-old’s decision has paid off, as he’ll earn a sizable pay raise from the two-year, $42.1 contract he signed with the Cavs last July.

James, who has expressed his desire to spend the rest of his career in Cleveland, could have signed a long-term contract with the club, but this two-year deal with a player option once again gives him negotiating power and puts the pressure on the Cavs to remain a contender.

LeBron and the Cavs once again will try to end Cleveland’s championship drought after falling to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in this season’s NBA Finals.
