Referee Charles Robinson had some explaining to do after WWE SummerSlam.

Robinson officiated the Brock Lesnar-Undertaker main event Sunday night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The match ended in controversy when The Undertaker defeated Lesnar via submission moments after Robinson failed to see ‘Taker tap out to Lesnar’s trademark submission, the Kimura Lock.

The timekeeper at ringside saw The Undertaker tap out, at which point he rang the bell. But Robinson, oblivious to what just happened, berated the timekeeper and declared the match wasn’t over.

The Undertaker took advantage of the second opportunity by delivering a low blow to Lesnar. The Dead Man then threw Lesnar into his signature submission, Hell’s Gate. Lesnar passed out.

It was a total mess that’ll likely set up a rubber match between Lesnar and The Undertaker.
