‘Deadliest Catch’ Crew Couldn’t Believe Seahawks Passed, Either (Video)

And here you thought Super Bowl reactions videos were done.

In the days and weeks following Super Bowl XLIX, videos started popping up all over the Internet featuring fans of both teams — the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots — and their reactions to the Patriots’ game-winning interception.

The juxtaposition was obvious. You had Seahawks fans getting their hearts ripped out after being convinced Seattle would run the ball, only to see quarterback Russell Wilson drop back and be intercepted by Malcolm Butler. On the other side, Patriots fans, ready to be put out of their misery, sprung to life as Butler jumped the route and sealed the win.

As we saw Tuesday night, a similar scene played out on the seas. The crew featured on “Deadliest Catch” — with a Seahawks fan leading the way — did its best to follow the game from the boat. They followed the final plays over the phone with a friend giving them the play-by-play updates.

When that fateful play went down, you can imagine how they responded.

Warning: There’s some inappropriate language in the video.
