The Boston Celtics apparently have added another body to an already-full training camp roster.

Former Holy Cross standout Malcolm Miller has signed with the CelticsĀ and will compete for a spot on the roster in training camp, according to multiple sources.

Miller’s deal is a one-year contract at the league minimum with $25,000 guaranteed, according to Basketball Insiders’ Eric Pincus.

Miller averaged 14.5 points in just under 32 minutes per game this year during his senior season at Holy Cross. The 6-foot-7 guard/wing combo player also averaged 1.6 blocks and 1.3 steals, showcasing his versatility.

Miller clearly made an impression on the Celtics’ coaching staff during his stint with the team at Summer League last month. In seven games, Miller averaged four points per gameĀ for the Summer C’s.

The team currently has 17 guaranteed contracts, so Miller’s would represent No. 18. Only 15 players are allowed on an NBA roster. The Celtics have yet to confirm the deal.
