It probably goes without saying, but if you’re looking for an autograph, you might want to make sure you get the right person.
One signature-seeking hockey fan could use a refresher on that one after mistaking Cory Schneider for Roberto Luongo in what ultimately was a pretty humorous gaffe.
The fan apparently sent Luongo two pictures to be signed. We’re guessing — and it appears Luongo thought the same — that the same fan sent the two photos. The only problem, you see, is that one of the photos was of Schneider, Luongo’s former Vancouver Canucks teammate.
Awkward.
Regardless, Luongo was a good sport about things. He signed the photo (of him) and sent the other one back with a message, too, which arguably is better than the autograph.
