Serena Williams Reacts To Shooting Of Unarmed College Football Player

Christian Taylor, a 19-year-old defensive back at Angelo State University, was shot and killed by Arlington, Texas, police officer Brad Miller on Friday, according to The Associated Press. Authorities said there was a struggle between Taylor and the officer, and that Taylor was unarmed at the time, according to the AP.

When Serena Williams heard the news, she took to Twitter to speak out about the shooting.

The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. Friday in Arlington. The police were responding to a burglary call at Classic Buick GMC, when they found Taylor had driven a vehicle through the front windows of the dealership, according to the AP.
