Andy Reid went full Bill Belichick on Monday night after the Kansas City Chiefs’ 38-28 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Belichick declared “We’re on to Cincinnati” last season after the New England Patriots were blown out by the Chiefs 41-14 in Week 3. The Pats then steamrolled the Bengals the following week en route to a Super Bowl title.

Perhaps privy to this information, Reid put his foot down and made the same declaration Monday after the Chiefs’ loss to the Packers.

“We’re moving on. We’re moving on to Cincinnati,” the Chiefs head coach told reporters in Green Bay.

The Chiefs, who undoubtedly are hoping for the same success the Patriots enjoyed last season after Belichick’s now-famous quote, will travel to Cincinnati for an important AFC showdown Sunday.
