Home underdogs will be plentiful in Week 1 of the NFL regular season, led by the Buffalo Bills, who entertain the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday as 3-point betting underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Bills struggled with consistency throughout 2014 before finishing the campaign on a 4-2 SU and 5-1 ATS run. Buffalo also enters Sunday’s Colts vs. Bills betting matchup at Ralph Wilson Stadium with a 4-1 ATS record in its past five September home games but has been dominated in recent meetings with Indianapolis, going 1-7 SU and 2-5-1 ATS in its past eight.

The Colts owned the sixth-best offense in the NFL last season but have seen the point total play UNDER in eight of their past nine games, holding opponents to just 16.6 points per game.

The Washington Redskins will have Kirk Cousins at the helm instead of Robert Griffin III when they kick off their season against the Miami Dolphins as fading 4-point underdogs this week. The Redskins have seen their odds diminish since opening as slim 1.5-point underdogs.

The Dolphins take on Washington amid a five-game ATS losing streak, but are a solid 4-0 SU and 3-1 ATS in their last four games as road favorites according to the OddsShark NFL Database.

The season premiere of “Monday Night Football” features a pair of home teams sitting as betting underdogs.

In the early game on Monday, the Atlanta Falcons will be looking to reverse their recent 1-5 SU record at the Georgia Dome when they face the new-look Philadelphia Eagles as 3-point underdogs, while the late game has the San Francisco 49ers taking on the Minnesota Vikings as 2.5-point underdogs.

The Falcons are just 2-4 ATS in their past six games at home, but claimed SU and ATS wins in their last two games against the Eagles, averaging 32.5 points per game in those outings. The 49ers have lost four of their last five SU and are winless ATS in their last six games.

In other Week 1 action, the St. Louis Rams will be looking to extend their three-game ATS win streak in home games against Seattle when they battle the Seahawks on Sunday as 4-point home underdogs, the Chicago Bears seek their first SU home win over Green Bay since 2010 when they meet the Packers as 6.5-point underdogs, and the Oakland Raiders face the Cincinnati Bengals as 3.5-point home underdogs.
