Boston Red Sox slugger David OrtizDavid Ortiz has a flair for the dramatic. So was it any surprise his 500th career home run came after he talked his way into the Boston Red Sox’s starting lineup and launched No. 499 earlier in the game?

Ortiz became the 27th player in Major League Baseball history to reach 500 home runs Saturday, further padding his Hall of Fame resume. Big Papi hit No. 500 off Matt Moore of the Tampa Bay Rays.

But where exactly does No. 500 rank among Ortiz’s most memorable home runs with the Red Sox?
