Dustin Pedroia is back.

The Boston Red Sox second baseman was activated from the 15-day disabled list before Tuesday night’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park. Pedroia had been out with a hamstring injury since July 22, but he looked like he never lost a step, going 1 for 4 with a double.

“It actually felt pretty good,” Pedroia said of hitting again on “Red Sox Final” after Boston’s 5-1 extra-inning loss. “It was kind of tough facing a knuckleball — especially since (R.A. Dickey) was on — but my next at-bat I saw a fastball and a slider and felt fine.”
