Apparently, ESPN’s latest Spygate report went down a whole lot differently in Taiwan.
You can usually expect a video from Next Media Animation’s Taiwanese Animators after some major sports news, but they really outdid themselves with their take on the report that Spygate was far more complicated than what was originally believed. According to the Taiwanese Animators, ESPN exposed Bill Belichick and the rest of the New England Patriots for being “the cheatingest cheaters ever.”
The video contains plenty of gems, but the best might be the fact that Belichick is basically Lord Voldemort and the every other NFL coach is the Kansas City Chiefs’ Andy Reid. Patriots owner Robert Kraft being depicted as Kraft Macaroni & Cheese and Belichick/Voldemort sneaking around in Gatorade coolers are up there, too.
The Patriots got the Taiwanese animation treatment once before after winning Super Bowl XLIX, but this one obviously wasn’t as nice. Still, the Spygate video is so ridiculous that even New England fans have to laugh.
