If mother knows best, Seattle Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell is in some trouble.

The St. Louis Rams’ defense stopped Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch on 4th-and-1 in overtime Sunday to seal a 34-31 win. Critics immediately compared the play to the Seahawks’ final offensive play of Super Bowl XLIX, when Seattle opted to throw near the goal line against the New England Patriots instead of handing the ball to Lynch, and that didn’t sit well with the running back’s mother.

Lynch’s mom, Delisa Lynch, dropped a scathing post Monday on Facebook in which she criticized media members and Seattle’s offensive line. Bevell received the harshest criticism, though, as Lynch’s mom wondered how the longtime coach still has a job. She even referred to him as the “worst play caller ever.”
