FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots running back Travaris Cadet only received two snaps against the Buffalo Bills, but he still was praised for his work last week.

Cadet, safety Jordan Richards, linebacker Jonathan Freeny, practice squad tight end Asante Cleveland and practice squad linebacker Brandon King received Patriots practice player of the week honors, the team announced. Wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins, quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, safety Tavon Wilson, cornerback Logan Ryan and linebacker Jerod Mayo earned the awards last week.

The Patriots practice players of the week wear black jerseys during the week. They typically receive the honor for imitating players on the opposing team during practice.
