We’re not sure if Mike Nugent called his shot Sunday. But it doesn’t matter.
The Cincinnati Bengals are 5-0 thanks to a game-winning field goal in overtime by Nugent. The Bengals kicker banked a 42-yard boot off the left upright and through to give Cincinnati a 27-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks at Paul Brown Stadium.
Andy Dalton and the Bengals overcame a 24-7 fourth-quarter deficit Sunday. The Seahawks punted on their final six possessions in what was a perfect snapshot of where each team is at the moment.
Cincinnati is rolling while the defending NFC champions look like shells of their former selves.
