The New York Jets have prepared for a number of different scenarios this weekend. Especially No. 2.

The Jets departed for London on Friday morning ahead of Sunday’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins at Wembley Stadium. As you might expect, there’s a lot that goes into planning for a trip overseas, but apparently the Jets’ football operations staff has prepared for everything.

According to the New York Times, the Jets have ordered 350 rolls of toilet paper for the weekend to replace the thinner TP typically used in London.

No, seriously.

“Some may say that’s a little over the top or whatnot, but it didn’t really cost that much, so why not?” Aaron Degerness, Jets senior manager of team operations, told The Times. “We’re basically trying to replicate everything that we’re doing here over there.”

Why not, indeed.

We’re sure head coach Todd Bowels Bowles and his Jets players — especially Willie Colon and Chris Ivory (Throne) — are very appreciative of the extra effort, because there’s nothing worse than using thin toilet paper. And there will be plenty of the good stuff to go around: There are 74 players and coaches in New York’s organization, which means nearly five rolls apiece for everyone.

The extra toilet paper, of course, was just a small sample of the Jets’ massive shipment to London, which also included 263 boxes of food items (cereal, snacks, etc.) and 315 power devices (adapters, power strips, etc.).

Because the next-worse thing besides thin toilet paper is having your phone die in the bathroom.
