Lifelong Yankees Fan, Grandmother Disses Alex Rodriguez In Obituary

Plenty of New York Yankees fans have warmed back up to Alex Rodriguez after he finished the regular season with 33 home runs and 86 RBIs, but one fan took her resentment for the slugger to her grave.

New York native Helen Fowler died on Sept. 29 at 85 years old and was a lifelong Yankees fan, according to her obituary in The Star-Ledger. However, she (or her family) included a line in the obit to make sure everyone knew that her fandom does not include Rodriguez.

It seems as though Helen Fowler was a great woman with a good head on her shoulders.
