Say it ain’t so, Jake.

New York Mets pitcher Jacob deGrom has one of the most notable haircuts — or lack thereof — in Major League Baseball. But, according to the ace himself, that hairdo has just about reached its expiration date.

deGrom was asked before Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday if his hair was better than Kansas City Royals pitcher Johnny Cueto’s, and his answer surely will devastate fans of his flowing locks.

“I think mine is gone at the end of the year, so I’ll give that award to him,” deGrom said. “It’s driving me nuts. I’ve got to get rid of it.”

Cheer up, Mets fans. You still have Noah Syndergaard.
