The Seattle Seahawks will attempt to rebound from a disappointing 27-24 overtime loss to the Cincinnati Bengals when they return home to face the undefeated Carolina Panthers as 7 1/2-point betting favorites for Week 6 at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Seahawks slipped to 2-3 with the straight-up (SU) loss over the weekend and also have struggled against the spread, dropping to 1-5-2 against the spread (ATS) in their last eight after tallying a push against the Bengals as 3-point underdogs.

However, Seattle rides a strong nine-game SU home win streak into Sunday’s Panthers vs. Seahawks betting matchup at CenturyLink Field, holding opponents to just 11.8 points per game over that stretch.

The Panthers are coming off a bye after opening the season with four SU wins, and are 9-1 SU in their past 10 games. But Carolina has faltered in recent contests immediately following a bye, going 0-4 SU and ATS in its last four, and is winless SU in its last five against the Seahawks, 1-3-1 ATS.

Meanwhile, the New England Patriots will be aiming for their seventh consecutive SU victory over Indy when they visit the Colts Sunday night as 7 1/2-point betting favorites.

The Patriots returned from their bye to post a decisive 30-6 win over the Cowboys in Arlington last weekend, easily covering as 8 1/2-point chalk to remain undefeated ATS in their last six games while improving to 6-0 SU in their last six October dates.

The Colts took home a 27-20 road victory in Houston last weekend, their third consecutive SU, picking up the win as 4 1/2-point underdogs and ending a five-game ATS skid. Indianapolis is 9-0 SU and ATS in its last nine games as home underdogs, and has been pegged as a bigger home underdog on only one occasion since 1998.

The Bengals will be looking to extend their undefeated record when they visit the Buffalo Bills as 3-point road favorites this weekend. Cincinnati moved to 5-0 with its stunning comeback win over the Seahawks, erasing a 24-7 fourth-quarter lead.

The club is also a perfect 2-0 SU and ATS on the road this season after posting a shaky 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS road record last season.

The Bills continued to play their best ball on the road last week, grinding out a 14-13 win over Tennessee after going winless SU and ATS in their past two at home, both as betting favorites, since shocking Indianapolis in Week 1.

Buffalo is 0-2 SU in its last two games against the Bengals, ending a 10-game SU win streak against Cincinnati, 9-1 ATS, according to the OddsShark NFL Database. Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor’s health is in question this week, with reports of a knee injury surfacing on Tuesday.

In other NFL Week 6 action the Denver Broncos visit the Cleveland Browns as 4 1/2-point chalk, and the Arizona Cardinals meet the Pittsburgh Steelers as 3-point road favorites.
