Thursday night’s National League Division Series Game 5 between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets proved one team is becoming a force while the other needs drastic changes.

Dodgers fans — especially actor Rob Lowe — were not happy about another early playoff exit.

If manager Don Mattingly didn’t know what his future entailed before the series, he might know now.

For a team to have a payroll of more than $300 million, you’d expect them to be a consistent contender, but that hasn’t been the case.
