Tyrod Taylor has been one of the biggest surprises of the 2015 NFL season for both the Buffalo Bills and fantasy football owners alike, but it looks like everyone will have to do without the Bills QB in Week 6.

Taylor is expected to miss the Bills’ game against the undefeated Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with a knee injury, according to NFL Media’s Michael Fabiano, who cited sources familiar with the injury.

With Taylor out, third-year backup E.J. Manuel likely will get the start under center. The Bills also signed Josh Johnson, indicating they’re approaching Taylor’s injury with precaution.

While Taylor has been a top-10 fantasy quarterback, Manuel should be avoided unless absolutely necessary while facing a terrific Bengals defense.

It’s unclear how long the injury will sideline Taylor, but fantasy owners in need of a waiver wire pickup should look to Jacksonville’s Blake Bortles.

Bortles is coming off his best game of the season — a 300-yard, four-touchdown performance — and faces a porous Houston Texans secondary at home. Bortles is owned in less than 30 percent of leagues and quietly has been the seventh-highest scoring fantasy QB this season.

Other viable options include Colin Kaepernick (owned in 44 percent of leagues) against the Baltimore Ravens and Jay Cutler (19 percent) against the Detroit Lions.
