Singing your country’s national anthem in front of a crowd is intimidating, but nothing could stop one Australian 7-year-old from bringing down the house.

Ethan Hall was ready to perform “Australia Advance Fair” at an Australian Baseball League game between the Brisbane Bandits and Adelaide Bite on Friday when he came down with a bout of the hiccups. But instead of letting that deter him from singing, little Ethan took a deep breath and soldiered on.

Ethan received a huge round of applause and plenty of high-fives from the Bite as he ran off the field like a total champ.

So if you’re ever considering giving up on something, just think about what Ethan Hall would do.
