And then there was one.

The New England Patriots entered Sunday night’s clash with the Denver Broncos with a 10-0 record, the only NFL team outside the 11-0 Carolina Panthers that had yet to lose a game this season.

The Broncos gave the Patriots all they could handle, though. New England needed a Stephen Gostkowski field goal in the snow at the end of regulation to force overtime, and after Denver’s defense stopped Tom Brady and Co. to start the extra period, running back C.J. Anderson delivered the dagger with a 48-yard touchdown run.

Anderson’s sprint down the left sideline gave the Broncos a 30-24 win, moving them to 9-2 on the season. It also capped a phenomenal night for the Denver running back, who finished with 113 rushing yards and two touchdowns on just 15 carries and also hauled in four passes for 40 yards.
