College Football Playoff Rankings: Notre Dame Remains In Top 4 Ahead Of BC Game

When Notre Dame travels to Fenway Park to face the Boston College Eagles on Saturday, the Fighting Irish will still have a No. 4 next to their name.

The only big question surrounding the latest College Football Playoff rankings, which were released Tuesday night, was if Notre Dame would remain in the top four or if Iowa or Oklahoma State would take its place. Unfortunately for the Hawkeyes and Cowboys, they were slotted at No. 5 and No. 6 in the rankings, respectively. That meant No. 1 Clemson, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 4 Notre Dame remained in the top four.

No. 7 Oklahoma, No. 8 Florida, No. 9 Michigan State and No. 10 Baylor rounded out the top 10. Navy remained the highest ranked Group of Five team at No. 16.
