Week 10 of the NFL season begins Thursday night when the New York Jets host the Buffalo Bills in an AFC East showdown, giving fantasy football owners just two more days to make important roster decisions.

We’re here to help, so we dug through our fantasy football mailbag using the questions you submitted to our Facebook and Twitter pages and answered some of the best. Check them out below.

Question from Danny via Twitter: picked up Wes Welker. Good or bad?
Sorry, Danny. This was a bad move.

Welker hasn’t played since last season, and he has suffered multiple concussions during his career. Assuming he’s fully healthy, he only should be owned in very deep fantasy leagues of 16 or more teams.

You also should consider that St. Louis Rams quarterback Nick Foles hasn’t thrown for more than 200 yards in a single game since Week 1 and is averaging less than one touchdown pass per game. Overall, the Rams rank dead last in the NFL in passing yards per game.

Welker’s not exactly entering a situation where there’s a good chance for him to be fantasy relevant on a consistent basis.

Question from Mike via Facebook: Flex spot this week, Martavis Bryant or Tavon Austin?
Austin had a decent Week 9 with 81 total yards against a good Minnesota Vikings defense. He also has four touchdowns in the last five games, and has been improving as the season progresses, but the same cannot be said for Bryant.

After a fantastic season debut on Oct. 18, the Steelers wideout hasn’t caught more than four passes or tallied at least 50 receiving yards in each of the last three games. He does have two touchdowns over the last three weeks, but his lack of receptions is a concern, especially for owners in PPR leagues.

Austin is the safer choice this week. He’s also going up against a Chicago Bears defense that has given up 17 passing touchdowns, fourth-most in the league.

Question from Stephen via Twitter: DeSean Jackson or Brandon LaFell the rest of the way?
LaFell is the best choice. He has improved in each game since making his second debut in Week 7.

The veteran receiver caught five passes on nine targets for 102 yards Sunday, and he has a favorable Week 10 matchup against a New York Giants defense ranked 31st in passing yards allowed per game. It also helps that LaFell plays in the league’s highest-scoring offense and receives passes from the leading MVP candidate in Tom Brady.

Question from Ricky via Facebook: Who should I start? Jeremy Maclin, Michael Crabtree, Brandin Cooks or Emmanuel Sanders?
Maclin isn’t a good option because the Kansas City Chiefs don’t target receivers too often, especially in the red zone. Sanders caught six passes for 90 yards and one touchdown Sunday, but 60 of those yards came on one play and he also suffered an ankle injury.

Crabtree and Cooks are your best bets, although they have somewhat difficult matchups against the sixth- and ninth-best pass defenses, respectively, in terms of yards allowed per game.

Cooks has tallied 70-plus receiving yards in each of the last three games, while Crabtree has back-to-back 100-yard games. Both players have scored three touchdowns over the last two weeks.

I’d give a slight edge to Crabtree, especially in a PPR league since he’s targeted more often. The Raiders also could be passing more often than normal, given the uncertain status of running back Latavius Murray, who suffered a concussion in Week 9.
