FOXBORO, Mass. — New England Patriots fans and fantasy football owners can breathe a deep sigh of relief. Julian Edelman is fine.
The wide receiver popped up on the Patriots’ injury report as limited with a knee ailment Wednesday. Edelman finished practice and the injury is “nothing to be concerned about,” a source told NESN.com.
Edelman has 52 catches for 584 yards with six touchdowns on the season. He’s quarterback Tom Brady’s most heavily targeted wide receiver. Brady has attempted 75 of his 288 passes to Edelman, who is on pace for his most productive season.
