It’s time to get ready for another round of everyone wondering whether LeBron James hates Kevin Love.
The two Cleveland Cavaliers superstars were at the center of numerous reports last season — their first together as teammates — and many wondered whether Love actually would stay in Cleveland. Despite the reported friction or whatever it was, the big man did sign on to stay with the Cavs, and it was all thought to be water under the bridge.
However, it was a bit curious that on Wednesday night against the New York Knicks, James seemed to go out of his way not to help up Love after Love fell to the floor. James practically stepped over Love instead of helping him up.
Maybe those issues are back. Maybe they never even left. Maybe LeBron wasn’t actually looking right at Love as it appeared, and maybe he just didn’t see him. Maybe LeBron’s issues with the Cavs’ sleeved jerseys got the best of him.
Maybe it’s literally nothing at all.
It certainly doesn’t seem like it would be any sort of byproduct of the team’s on-court play so far this season. The Cavs won Wednesday night and are now 4-1 on the young season.
