6:00 p.m.: Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Ricardo Lockette was carted off the field on a spine board after taking a hit during a kickoff.

Lockette immediately fell to the ground, motionless, and remained there for several minutes while being examined by medical staff. He was awake while being carted off and waved to the crowd, which obviously was a relieving sign.

4:57 p.m.: San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush could be done for the season, according to FOX Sports.

Bush left Sunday’s game with an injury after slipping on a concrete portion of the sideline.

4:48 p.m.: New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick hurt his thumb while taking a sack and is questionable to return.

4:44 p.m.: Baltimore Ravens receiver Steve Smith is done for the season, and possibly his career.

Ravens coach John Harbaugh thinks Smith could be back for one more season, though.

4:01 p.m.: San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush won’t be returning to today’s game against the St. Louis Rams.

3:30 p.m.: Steve Smith suffered yet another injury. This one didn’t look good at all.

2 p.m.: Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell was tackled at the sideline and immediately grabbed his right knee. It doesn’t look good.

12:20 p.m.: Everything has gone wrong for the Detroit Lions today. They are trailing 45-10 to the Kansas City Chiefs in the fourth quarter and their No. 1 wideout is hurt.

12 p.m.: Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is active against the Cincinnati Bengals. He hasn’t played since Week 2.

Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz is inactive. He still hasn’t played this season.

9:10 a.m.: Here are the inactives for Chiefs-Lions.

8:35 a.m.: Antonio Gates’ absence would be a huge loss for Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers, who entered Week 8 as the league leader in passing yards. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport has an update on the veteran tight end.

The St. Louis Rams are heavy favorites against the San Francisco 49ers. They might have a full complement of running backs today.
