It’s been a rough few days for Ronda Rousey.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight champion lost her title in stunning fashion when she was knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 on Saturday. Rousey was taken to the hospital following the loss, and she reportedly will need plastic surgery on her lip. She also won’t show her face in public two days after the fight.

As a result of her injuries, Rousey has received a 60-day medical suspension, which could grow to as many as 180 days depending on the results of a CT scan, according to “FOX Sports Live.”

Medical suspensions protect fighters from returning too soon. However, Rousey already announced plans to take time off following UFC 193, regardless of the outcome.
