Jose Aldo knew UFC 194 was going to be a quick finish. He just didn’t expect to be on the losing end.
The former UFC world featherweight champion predicted prior to Saturday’s title fight with Conor McGregor that the first punch he landed would knock out the Irish interim champ.
The opposite was true, of course, as McGregor’s left cross stunned Aldo, who immediately fell to the ground unconscious. The match was called after just 13 seconds, crowning McGregor as the new undisputed UFC featherweight champion of the world.
