Actor Ralph Macchio, known for his role as Daniel LaRusso in “The Karate Kid,” was spotted on the New York Jets’ sideline before Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium.
Macchio is a New Yorker, so his Jets fandom should come as no surprise. He’s also no stranger to playing the role of underdog, so perhaps the Jets, who were in the same position, were hoping he’d be their good luck charm against the AFC’s top team.
