This year’s Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl has the potential to be a real barnburner.
The California Golden Bears go head-to-head with the Air Force Falcons on Tuesday, and it should be an offensive showdown. Neither Cal nor Air Force has a very effective defense, so it likely will come down to the Golden Bears’ air attack against the Falcons’ ground game.
Cal sits at 7-5, though it lost five of its last seven games after starting 5-0. Air Force won the Mountain Division of the Mountain West Conference with an 8-4 record.
