2017 NHL All-Star Game Will Be Hosted By Los Angeles Kings

The NHL’s midseason celebration will take place in Los Angeles for the 2016-17 season.

League commissioner Gary Bettman announced Saturday the the 2017 NHL All-Star Game will be hosted by the Los Angeles Kings and played at Staples Center. The All-Star Skills Competition will take place Jan 28 and the All-Star Game will be played on Jan. 29.

The last time Staples Center hosted the All-Star Game was 2002, when the World all-stars defeated the North America all-stars 8-5. The Kings also played host in 1981 at the Great Western Forum.

This season’s All-Star Game is Sunday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
