The New England Patriots typically are tight-lipped, and any rare display of emotion or excitement is often left for the grandest scales.
An AFC Divisional Playoff win over the Kansas City Chiefs doesn’t exactly fall into that category, but it’s still plenty reason to celebrate, as Pats safety Devin McCourty and quarterback Tom Brady showed in the locker room following the 27-20 win.
Coach Bill Belichick also seemed pleased with his team, noting their lead “from wire to wire” as a point of accomplishment.
