Jon “Bones” Jones has his little brother’s back no matter what.

The former UFC light heavyweight champion spoke to TMZ Sports ahead of the New England Patriots’ AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos and stuck up for his brother, Chandler Jones, after the Patriots defensive end wound up at the Foxboro, Mass., police station reportedly after bad reaction to synthetic marijuana.

“Chandler’s doing great,” Jon Jones told TMZ Sports. “Chandler’s doing really good. Chandler’s a young guy who has a lot thrown at him, a new level of fame and success. New opportunities. He’s going through his growing pains and doing what he has to do to make things right. Chandler is in a good position, man. I am so happy for him.”

Jon Jones knows a thing or two about legal trouble, too. The 28-year-old fighter tested positive for cocaine in Jan. 2015 and later was stripped of his light heavyweight title. He was also suspended indefinitely after being arrested on felony hit-and-run charges. He was reinstated by the UFC in October.
