A former U.S. Olympian went to jail recently.

Picabo Street, a 2002 Gold medalist skier, was arrested last month and later charged with assault, according to the Associated Press, citing charging documents.

The 44-year-old reportedly locked her 76-year-old father in the basement before calling authorities. She told police that her father had pulled her hair as a result of a fight, the report states.

Her father, Roland Street, told police his daughter “got angry and started yelling after he bumped his car into the house while trying to leave,” according to documents cited by the AP.

Street then allegedly grabbed her father by the neck and shoulder area and threw him down a flight of stairs.

She officially was charged two weeks after the incident on three counts of misdemeanor domestic violence in the presence of a child and one count of misdemeanor assault.
