DENVER — Tom Brady deserves some rest. He wishes it was coming two weeks later, however.

The New England Patriots quarterback was beat up behind a porous offensive line this season. It was at its worst Sunday in the Patriots’ AFC Championship Game loss to the Denver Broncos, when he was sacked four times and hit 20.

So, what will Brady do now that his season is over?

“I’m not sure, so I don’t know,” Brady said. “Get over these bumps and bruises, that’ll be the first thing.”

Brady sprained his ankle during the Patriots’ Week 17 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He didn’t have any other known injuries this season, though at 38 years old, every hit must have an effect.
