This weekend has wall-to-wall action for Boston sports fans.

The New England Patriots face the Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC Divisional Playoff, the Boston Bruins and Celtics are in action and MMA is returning to TD Garden for UFC Fight Night Boston.

And UFC president Dana White, who was born in Manchester, Conn., knows all about just how much a weekend like this means to the region.

“I love this city, and this is a big sports town,” White said in an interview with NESN’s Nikki Reyes on “NESN Live” on Friday. “So think about this — tonight is the (Boston) Celtics’ game, tomorrow the (New England) Patriots are in the playoffs and the Bruins play, and Sunday were’re here at TD Garden.

“It’s just a testament to what a huge sports town this town is. And it’s also a big fight town, and I always wanted to bring big fights back to Boston.”
