Peyton Manning has yet to say whether he’ll retire, but it sounds like he’ll be in a different uniform if he does play next season.

The Denver Broncos quarterback led his team to a Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, and many reports have suggested it was Manning’s last game. Peyton’s father, Archie Manning, all but confirmed those reports after the game.

“I think Peyton’s done in Denver,” Manning told NFL Media’s Jeff Darlington, per ProFootballTalk. “I think Peyton’s done in Denver. He may be done everywhere. So that’s my — you know what? I don’t stick my nose in it, so I don’t know that. I don’t know that. But that’s my guess.”

Regardless of whether Manning decides to retire, it seems unlikely the Broncos will keep him around. Releasing Manning would allow them to lock down key members of their elite defense with a lot of cap space.
