President Barack Obama has serious business to attend to most of the time, but he’s been known to lighten up whenever professional sports champions pay him a visit. (Just ask the New England Patriots.)

That certainly was the case Thursday, when the POTUS welcomed the 2015 NBA champion Golden State Warriors to the White House to celebrate their achievements.

The achievements of the Warriors, of course, are ongoing, as the club’s visit came fresh off a thrilling win over the Washington Wizards that saw Stephen Curry go off for 51 points. Obama apparently saw the highlights from that game, as he used an awesome line to describe Curry’s play from the night before.

When the leader of the free world says you’re “clowning” on your opponents, you know you’ve reached the peak. The president also did a pretty solid impression of Curry hopping around with delight after Golden State’s win.

Obama still left time for a few zingers, however, including this solid joke about the Warriors’ comparison to his beloved Chicago Bulls:

Well played.
