SAN FRANCISCO — Tom Brady isn’t here at Super Bowl 50, but Boomer Esiason believes the New England Patriots quarterback will be back in the big game sooner rather than later.

“I think he has a good four or five years left,” Esiason told NESN’s Michaela Vernava on Monday at the Moscone Center. “… In my estimation, he’s the greatest of all time. He has many more years to continue to add to his numbers and his legacy, and I would not be surprised to see the Patriots back in Super Bowl 51 next year. That’s how good they are.”

Esiason, a former NFL quarterback himself, added “75 percent of Brady is better than 100 percent of the other quarterbacks,” which Patriots fans have been saying for years.

Watch the video above for Esiason’s thoughts on Jimmy Garoppolo eventually stepping in for Brady, why the Patriots lost in the AFC Championship Game and more. Also, for an extended interview with Esiason, visit NESN’s YouTube page.
