SAN FRANCISCO — Injuries in youth football have become a growing concern, and “Friday Night Tykes,” a show that chronicles 10- and 11-year-old players in the Texas Youth Football Association, allows viewers to see the coaching and techniques used in an ultra-competitive league.

“Friday Night Tykes” executive producer Matt Maranz and TYFA president Brian Morgan visited Michaela Vernava on NESN.com’s Radio Row set to discuss their views on youth football safety and how the show can educate on the topic.
