Lindsey Vonn is injured again.
The U.S. Olympian suffered a hairline fracture in her left knee when she crashed during a World Cup super-G ski race Saturday in Andorra. Vonn had to be carried down the course in a sled after the incident.
She announced the news via her Instagram, with a caption that read:
“Got caught in the soft snow today and crashed pretty hard. X-rays showed I have a hairline fracture in my left knee and will get an MRI Monday. I will wait and see how I feel tomorrow to decide if I can race. Will keep (you) updated. (Thanks) for all of the support and well wishes. Means a lot! Also congrats to my teammate (Laurenne Ross) on 2nd place today!”
