Super Bowl 50 Opening Night Brings Out The Bizarre Before The Big Game

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Super Bowl Opening Night, formerly known as Media Day, is as much about spectacle as it is about football. Media from every corner of the entertainment and sports worlds descend upon the big game’s participants, and questions about football itself can be hard to find.

NESN.com’s Ashley Allen and Michaela Vernava soaked in the Opening Night atmosphere Monday at SAP Center, home of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks, and reported back on the good, the bad and the bizarre with which the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers were faced.
