LeBron James versus Kobe Bryant.

It’s been a key storyline in the NBA since the day King James stepped onto the court in 2003. Bryant had been the NBA’s best player for several years; James was the heir apparent.

In the 13 seasons since James was drafted, the Cleveland Cavaliers star holds a 14-6 record against Bryant’s Los Angeles Lakers in games both superstars have played. Sadly, they’ve never met in the playoffs and won’t this year, either. But even though it’s not quite the appointment TV it once was, Wednesday we get potentially one final glimpse of two legends on the court together.

Bryant has been a shadow of his former self this season, though his past five games have seen a slight resurgence to the tune of 28.4 points and 6.4 rebounds per game — including a 38-point outburst last week to snap a franchise-worst 10-game losing streak. The Lakers have lost 12 of 14 games entering Wednesday.

The Cavaliers, on the other hand, are 7-3 in their past 10 games despite back-to-back losses last week that included a Boston Celtics buzzer-beater.

The two teams are slated to play again March 10 in Los Angeles.

Here’s how you can watch Cavaliers-Lakers online.
