The major NFL awards will be given out at this year’s NFL Honors on Saturday before the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers square off in Super Bowl 50.
The most-anticipated awards are league MVP and the Rookie of the Year awards in both conferences.
The Panthers should be involved in plenty of these awards races. Carolina quarterback Cam Newton is the leading candidate for MVP, Ron Rivera should receive consideration for AP Coach of the Year and linebacker Luke Kuechly could win his second AP Defensive Player of the Year.
