Every want to act as your favorite Boston Bruins player’s personal barber? For the ninth consecutive year, the team is giving you that chance.

Center Patrice Bergeron and 98.5 The Sports Hub are teaming up to host the ninth annual “Cuts for a Cause” benefit, which allows fans to bid for the right to shave the head of a Bruins player or Sports Hub personality.

The event is set for Wednesday, March 30, at Boston’s Westin Waterfront Hotel, and all proceeds will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation and Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.

Joining Bergeron in this year’s pool of participants will be forwards Noel Acciari, Matt Beleskey, Brett Connolly, Landon Ferraro, Jimmy Hayes, Chris Kelly, Brad Marchand, Tyler Randell, Ryan Spooner and Lee Stempniak; defensemen Zdeno Chara, Kevan Miller, John-Michael Liles, Adam McQuaid, Joe Morrow, Dennis Seidenberg and Zach Trotman; and goalie Jonas Gustavsson.

Loui Eriksson, David Krejci, Torey Krug, David Pastrnak and Tuukka Rask won’t have their heads shaved but, in a first for the event, instead will be shaving the heads of the highest bidders.
