Don’t be fooled by Marcus Smart’s recent shooting woes: The Boston Celtics guard still is capable of making some pretty amazing plays.

Smart reminded everyone of this fact Thursday night against the Trail Blazers in Portland. With just 0.6 seconds left on the shot clock and the Celtics inbounding during the second quarter, Evan Turner had no choice but to toss the ball toward Smart’s direction and hope for the best.

And the best is exactly what happened, thanks to an incredible display of athleticism and body control by Smart:

There are a lot of amazing things about this play, but the most impressive part might be that Smart, a right-handed shooter, put this shot in with his left hand.

The 22-year-old entered the game mired in an 0 for 15 shooting slump from 3-point range, but if he keeps doing things like this, we’re sure head coach Brad Stevens won’t mind.
