Qualifying for the 2018 World Cup hadn’t exactly gone as planned for Team USA heading into Tuesday’s crucial matchup against Guatemala, but the Americans seem to have put that behind them — at least for the first half.

Clint Dempsey put USA up 1-0 in the CONCACAF World Cup qualifier when he ran down a loose ball near the top of the box and finished with an impressive low strike.

And Attleboro, Mass., native Geoff Cameron put the Americans up 2-0 later in the half with a header off a set piece.
